Once the protectors of the forests of Korvaria, the Farag were threatened by the expansion of the human/gnome technological empire known as the Korvaria Technocracy. As they fought a losing war against the Technocracies autonomous armies, their lands were eroded by a mysterious weapon. This weapon destroyed the forests of the Farag and sank Korvaria beneath the sands. The Farag remained and adapted to the world around them.

The Kom- El Farag are the elves of the desert.  Kom- El Farag live in a warrior society based upon honor, and the strongest warrior is the leader of the tribe. Although they have lost their affinity for magic, many of these elves are desert druids and a small lot practice the arcane gathered from ruins of their lost civilization. For the Kom- El Farag, many males are cast out of their society for losing in mating ritual duals. Many females also disagree with the male dominant society and animalistic mating rites and flee their civilization. These outcasts often move to the outer borders of the desert, making a living as guides from one side of the desert to the other. Others become adventurers, many with the goal of gaining power in order to regain their honor and return to their homeland. Some suceed and are able to return, but many lose their way and integrate with the outside world.

Farag are typically dark skinned and have either black or red hair. They typically stand taller than humans and appear gaunt. Often these elves eyes are completely alit with a yellow or blue glow, however some have eyes that are considered normal and can have red, brown, or yellow pupils.

outside world. Living on the fringes of the frozen north, the Iythaln forge their homes from the frost and feed upon arctic sea creatures such as whales and seals. Within Iythaln is an ancient library that contains knowledge predating the Korvarian Empire. The Iythaln's must protect themselves from yeti, frost worms, demons, and white dragons on a constant basis. Many Iythaln adventurers have been whisked away from their homeland by ancient portals, others that leave may have met outsiders and become curious about the world outside of the north.

Iythaln typically have pale blue skin with hair that ranges from white, black, grey, and blue. They are typically the same height as humans but appear more gaunt and slim.
